Queen’s Green Canopy
The Queen's Green Canopy initiative is a nationwide tree planting program in the UK, launched to commemorate Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee in 2022, encouraging individuals to participate by planting a tree for the Jubilee.
To get involved with the project, the wider INverurie network will be holding an event on February 25th, 2023, where 10 sites around Inverurie will be planted with native trees of the area to increase biodiversity, local tree structure and provide a legacy for future generations to enjoy.
